For more than two decades, I thrived in musical theatre followed by teaching and mentoring 1:1 and big groups - mastering voice, body language, breathwork, and mindset until everything felt effortless.

And yes… there was also a lot of dancing.
Rehearsal rooms filled with music, bodies moving in rhythm, laughter between takes.
Because presence is not only about technique it’s about joy, playfulness and being fully alive in your body.

That sense of lightness is something I bring into my work today. Even when we talk about nerves, leadership or public speaking, there is always space for curiosity, creativity and a bit of fun along the way.

When I struck out on my own as a freelancer, pitching on Zoom and leading client meetings suddenly felt like uncharted territory, a new stage I had to own if I wanted to succeed in business.

I had the skills, the passion, the know-how… but I lost my footing. I convinced myself that to “look professional,” I needed a new role, a mask and overnight my confidence evaporated.
